– The warranty may be reduced or eliminated on sewer or drain cleaning due to excessive roots, foreign objects, sewers in need of repair or replacement, and sewers greater than 100ft in length without an additional cleanout.

Customer Supplied Parts Limited Warranty

Discount Plumbing provides a 90-day warranty on labor only for customer provided parts and/or fixtures.

Water Heaters

Normal Water Heater Warranty – 6 Year Tank / 1 Year Parts & Labor

Discount Plumbing, the installer of your water heater, will repair or replace the water heater in the event of a failure for a period of ONE (1) year. The manufacturer of the water heater will warranty the tank itself (not the labor) for a period of six years.

Extended Water Heater Warranty 10 Year Tank / 1 Year Parts & Labor

Same warranty as the “Normal Water Heater Warranty” but instead of a six-year tank warranty there is a TEN (10) year warranty on the tank itself (no labor).

Parts & Labor Warranty Details

The tank and all parts within the tank are covered under this warranty, including labor expenses for service, or the re-installation of a new tank. Discount Plumbing must install the replacement water heater for this warranty to be valid. No charges will be imposed for material, labor or permits necessary to make this exchange

THIS WARRANTY WILL NOT APPLY

• IF DAMAGE OCCURS FROM ABUSE, ACCIDENT, FIRE, FLOOD, AND THE LIKE;
• IN THE EVENT THE TANK FAILURE OCCURS DUE TO THE WATER HEATER OPERATING IN A CORROSIVE ATMOSPHERE;
• WATER TEMPERATURES EXCEEDING MAXIMUM SETTING OF THE OPERATING AND /OR HIGH LIMIT CONTROL;
• IF THE WATER HEATER IS NOT SUPPLIED WITH POTABLE WATER, FREE TO CIRCULATE AT ALL TIMES; HEATER MUST NOT BE SUBJECTED TO PRESSURE OR A FIRING RATE GREATER THAN THOSE SHOWN ON THE RATING PLATE; RATING PLATE MUST NOT BE ALTERED, DEFACED OR REMOVED;
• IF THE UNIT IS MOVED FROM ITS ORIGINAL INSTALLATION LOCATION;
• IF THE WATER HEATER IS SERVICED BY ANY OTHER COMPANY THAN DISCOUNT PLUMBING.

General Information

How to Make a Claim

Any claim for warranty repairs should be made to Discount Plumbing. Warranty repairs can be made seven (7) days a week, 24hrs a day. Replacement water heaters will be installed Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM , or sooner, based upon the availability of a replacement tank.

Miscellaneous

No one is authorized to make any other warranties on Discount Plumbing’s behalf. Any implied warranties, including merchantability, shall not be extended beyond the applicable warranty period specified above. Our sole liability with respect to any defect shall be set forth in this warranty, and any claims for incidental or consequential damages (including damage from water leaking) are excluded.

Residential Service and Repair Only

Due to nature of commercial business, warranties for these jobs will be noted on the estimate/invoice and the above warranties shall not apply.

Drain Cleaning Limitations

No warranty on commercial drains, toilet augers, urinal augers, and roof vents.
